Perfection Overcomes Absurdity by Fr. Smith

Perfection Overcomes Absurdity

Mary is the Summit of Creation, the Supreme Creature, the Perfect Creature

– If Mary is not the Perfect Creature, then there is a creature given greater graces and love from Jesus than He gave His own Mother.

– If Mary is not the Perfect Creature, then She is not a Perfect Saint; if She is not the Perfect Saint, then there is a Saint made more holy and pure than Jesus made His own Mother.

– If Mary is not the Perfect Creature, then She is not a Perfect Mother; if She is not the Perfect Mother, then Jesus bestowed on some other creature a Mother more deserving of affection, honor, and love than God ought to have for His own Mother.

– If God created a creature above Mary, then there is a creature whose reflection of the Divinity is greater than the humanity received by God in the Flesh.

– If God has raised up a Saint more faithful than Mary, then Jesus has honored some other creature with an abundance over and above what He accomplished in obeying His own Fourth Commandment — the Son of God refused His Mother that which He was capable of giving Her.

– If there is a finer Mother than Mary, then a creature owes love to its Mother beyond the love due to the Mother of God.

If Mary is not the greatest creature possible, or if God has not brought the greatest creature possible into existence, or if we do not know what the greatest creature possible is then God has not perfected His own handiwork,

He who began the good work of creation has not brought it to perfection, and Consummatum est! is a declaration wanting in fulfillment…

If Mary is not the Perfect Creature, then JESUS IS AN INGRATE.

If Mary is not the Perfect Creature, then A CREATURE SURPASSES GOD IN FILIAL LOVE.

If Mary is not the Perfect Creature, then GOD’S WORK OF CREATION CONTRADICTS GOD’S WORD OF PERFECTION: BE YOU THEREFORE PERFECT, AS ALSO YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS PERFECT! (Saint Matthew 5:48) – GOD EXPECTS MORE FROM MAN THAN GOD HAS GIVEN TO MAN!
